A day with BBC Research and Development

Yus!

It may sound incredibly boring just seeing that title but let me tell you, it was lots of fun, one thing I got to do was take pictures of a band called The Charlatans, or the Charlatans UK to the Americans, I got the privilege to listen and watch them perform some of their songs to a private 20 person studio audience and on top that they broadcast in Super High Definition and 3D to Japan! OMG Super high Def is not out for another 10 years, so the Japanese say, BBC's R&D team did an outstanding job in developing the ability to do this, fantastic job guys!

*big thumbs up*

Anyway, I thought I'd show you a blog that was recently put up by the R&D team, they used some of my photos! woop!

and here are some of my pictures that I am exceptionally proud of :-)

These pictures were taken at BBC Television Centre, Studio 0.

Something Different

 Ok peoples,

Something different I'm going to talk about today and it's something I'm going to put a lot of commitment into if it works out.  Another thing I love to do on the side is help people by giving Reiki Treatments, I have been treating people for about 4 years now and I am at the Master level.  Now for the people that don't know what reiki is all about, let me break it down for you.

The practice of Reiki is an original method of healing, developed by Mikao Usui in Japan early in the 20th century, which is activated by intention. It works on every level, not just the physical.
The Japanese word Reiki means ‘Universal Energy’. Eastern medicine has always recognised and worked with this energy, which flows through all living things and is vital to well-being. Known as ‘ki’ in Japan, ‘chi’ in China and ‘prana’ in India. Acupuncture, T’ai chi and Yoga are also based on the free-flow of this energy in a person.
Reiki is a non-invasive therapy whose purpose is to treat holistically and to restore homeostasis.

The benefits of reiki:

  • Creates deep relaxation and aids the body to release stress and tension,

  • It accelerates the bodie's self-healing abilities,

  • Aids better sleep,

  • Reduces blood pressure

  • Can help with accute (injuries) and chronic problems (asthma, eczema, headaches, etc.) and aides the breaking of addictions,

  • Helps relieve pain,

  • Removes energy blockages, adjusts the energy flow of the endocrine system bringing the body into balance and harmony,

  • Assists the body in cleaning itself from toxins,

  • Reduces some of the side effects of drugs and helps the body to recover from drug therapy after surgery and chemotherapy,

  • Supports the immune system,

  • Increases vitality and postpones the aging process,

  • Raises the vibrational frequency of the body,

  • Helps spiritual growth and emotional clearing

  • I shall be holding a seminar next month at a kung fu school in west sussex to promote this alternative therapy.
